Well sweetie, I never mind working with a customer as long as they are pleasant and don't go can't you go faster? The only thing that is difficult for me is getting kicked off the server bc of my connection so i usually call out numbers as we go through things and write down the ones they like. this way we are all happy and not feeling rushed...Good luck sugar pie

If you're polite and respectful, which you obviously are, any ID should be THRILLED to have you for a customer! The 0 slider bug drives me insane, but the good news is, it can be fixed. So hit up an experienced ID who is familiar with the bug and she'll get ya straightened out.

Best of luck!

Icky slider bug! Whenever I go to make a change I have gotten into the habit of getting the look of the item being changed committed to memory before actually entering in to change it. I've always been able to get very close to the original look when the bug hit.

As they have said, find an established ID and they'll work with ya. I enjoy picky customers the most!

Can someone give me a quick run down on the known issues with twilek noses? I wanted to reduce my protrusion a little, and I think I got hit with the "all sliders to zero" bug. I refused the change - but it still happened. So my nose is now very flat and very short. The ID did not seem to notice that anything odd had happened and after a few attempts to fix it I thanked and tipped her. She did her best.

I was wondering - was she able to see the changes she did? I know that during some changes the ID has to work blind. If that is true with noses then I think I'll wait until it is fixed to have my nose redone. If it is possible to see the changes then I will find another ID and spend a good chunk of time trying to get it right.

I don't want to be a difficult customer and say a little more a little more a little less a little more and take up all of someone's play-time. But everytime I see my twilek now I feel really miserable. It must be very frustrating to deal with bugs like the zero bug and the working blind bug as an image designer!!

My second question is - how do you feel about picky customers? Would I be better off working my way up the ID tree to a level where I can fix my nose myself? Or am I being over-sensitive? Whenever I spend time with an ID I worry that they must be impatiently tapping their fingers, waiting for me to make up my mind.

My third point is - I really appreciate all that you guys do! The forum is wonderful, the people are wonderful - you all add a great deal of content and enjoyment to the game! And my main character would like to offer up a heart-felt sigh for the fact that hairstyles are so difficult to code and let you know that she would rather have had wookiee braids then armor.

Sort of. When the 0 slider bug hits, if the ID wasn't paying very close attention beforehand they may not notice it's happened. However, any changes they make after the fact they will see in real time.

Personally, as long as the client is pleasant I don't mind spending a fair chunk of time playing the "little more…little more…too much!" game.

That really depends on the ID. I don't mind this sort of customer, as long as they're polite about it, but some others may not. As for grinding up ID yourself…it's an option, but keep in mind that the nose plays into the rest of the ratios for the whole face, so you may find that you need to have more than just your nose altered to get your look just right. I would recommend seeking out an established, skilled image designer rather than trying to do it yourself—many times you end up spending a good chunk of time and money getting the ID skills you think you need, then going to an ID to fix what you did anyway. But in the end it's your toon and your choice.

Awww. Thanks!
