Thread: The suspense is killing me!!!! New prices and an official What is the tent for betting pool.

Argh! LOL
I know there are a lot of threads about the new ID tents, but I had to post my own.
Why, you ask?
Why?!
The waiting is making me craaaaaaazy!!!!!!
So we know...
The new colors aren't tied to them...
The particle affects aren't tied to them...
They aren't craftable (yet!!!)...
We don't need them for lighting our vict.. I mean customers...
You need an image designer in order to use the terminals...
UGH!!!
So are they for...
Image designing without using mind?
Name changes?
Species change

I'm starting a bet.
Anyone on starsider.
I'm putting 2000 credits that the tents will be used to offer multiple image design changes at once...
Any takers?
Ohhhh... and once we have an official method of charging customers through the new interface, would anyone like to get together and set server prices? Have a sort of nonofficial labor union of image designers?

Names are deeply tied into the code that identifies a character—we'll likely never be able to change these.

According to what we've been told, the new interface will allow for this without the tent…and if I had more than 250 credits on Starsider I'd so take this bet. Hm…survey missions?

And if this turns out to be what the tent is for, lets hope that they remember to not grant any XP for image design done in the tent! We don't want the ID grind to be even easier!

One possibility is that even thou the particle affects aren't tied to them it may be cheaper to do them there, that is to say a droid or other cost may be needed to do particle affects away from ID tents

2000 credits? That's my whole life savings on SS.
I bet that... nothing. I don't have a clue what they could be for and 50/50 says that the Dev's still don't either.

Hahaha! If only this were a magic-based game!
Players may opt to not pay gold for an Image Design session, but as soon as the changes go through, the Image Designer has one minute to turn said stiffer into random rodent creature of ID choice! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!
