It still suprises me that people will come into a forum and have absolutely no respect for the profession, but expect people from that profession to come in and help them out. Why should we?

Hello Nerfherder,

You sound simi-new to to these parts so i'm not going to assume that your WOOOIE! was sarcasm, like others have. if you read the stickies you will find a list of IDer by galaxy, and FAQ theat will greatly help you. FYI: An Master IDer may want APs or credits but not exps, you may try to find a follow Hologroner for the exp grind by looking for a novice IDer using the in-game search.

WELL i spent an hour of my time to get a holocron and lo and behold! image designer....WOOPIE!, although i know NO ONE to help me... whcih woudl make it easier...im screwed... is there ANY ahazi ID's that need exp who will sit with me and we could erm...id each other PM me

sorry, yes you can perceive it as sarcasm, im just upset that after i spen 2 hours looking for a decent holcron price that was not what it was 6 months ago, and spending even more time searching for a master ent or an ID who was NOT afk in the cantina, im sorry if i offended anyone, its just..that well...im not really... pleased... there are many many ID's who arent doing things and such...... and im just upset taht this avatar is more...combat oriented...and doing ID is pretty mcuh starting from scratch... :/

I donno... when I wanted to be an ID I checked out the faq...

found out all the macros I could use and how much xp I would get for each change...

borrowed a friend...

drank brandy and ate arisa(?)...

An hour and a half later I was ready to go.

I'd have jumped for joy if I was a hologrinder and I got ID as my profession...

good lord man, you could have gotten bounty hunter.

If you can afford a holo, why can't you do a couple missions and pay someone to help you?
