Thread: Testing Checklist for ID on TC next week?

Hey Kwee,
Just wondering if you by chance had thought of whether you want to go by any sort of "checklist" or not in regards to testing the new ID changes on TC next week. 
I gather that the main points would be to test (in no particular order)
I gather that the main points would be to test (in no particular order)1) All 5 (I think 5?) ID Tent locations, make sure they all work as expected,
2) Test new color palette out thoroughly,
3) make sure the old "removed" items that are being placed back in the game all work as expected (ie baldness, etc.),
4) test particle effects,
5) test new styles outside of the particle effects (not sure if body paint for instance qualifies as a style or particle effect),
6) test all old styles and abilities to make sure nothing has been impacted as a result of this.
I know most of that is common sense, but as a master ID on TC, I was just curious if you had a plan of attack when that comes available. I'll probably be working initially out of the Theed ID tents for New Unity people, but if you want to start out testing somewhere else and get all ID's together, that would be cool too. However you want to handle it!

Great list Suboshi, thank you Several ID's in the community have Novice or Master ID's on TC now for testing purposes. I'm guessing it will prob be only a few that can travel to test the nonNaboo tents due to travel expense issues. If you don't mind I'd like to use your list to work off of I'll have a few things to add to itoncethe mini publish hits TC and I can see what all made it in

Master ID on Test reporting for duty
One of my friends from Chimaera has kindly agreed to make some characters for me to play with there. Hopefully this will allow me to experiment on all the races.
Soon as it hits Test Center my friends on live wont see me for dust.

We will also need all races of victim so that Kwee can take screenies of the color palettes for Warcry.

My TC character is a novice ID, I'd really like to have the chance to master it except I'd never be able to get the AP.

If you have about an hour Fuschia, go out and get ranged support 1. Most of the elite combat types have tons of combat xp sitting around willing to use it to help with AP. That's how I've gotten most of mine on my 4 characters there.
Also I have the cash to travel to the remote places if need be. Just drop Al'a an email ingame and let me know if she is needed in the boonies anywhere.

That's a very good point a few people made, we need to make certain that we do those tests above for each individual race, since they're all different. One thing that would help but probably won't be available would be a list of what is and is not intended from the devs - for example, are we supposed to be able to turn wookie fur neon blue?
It'll be easier once we see who all is there on TC. If however we don't have an immediate victim... err... volunteer in a given race or gender of a specific race (such asa female rodian for example), I do own two other accounts myself, and either or both of those I'd be happy to use for creating such characters on TC and bank tipping the funds to get em over to us.

If I have enough space on my computer, I'll be installing TC and creating a character of each species (or whatever one is needed).

I'll create a MID possibly tomorrow on TC and make sure my spare TC spots have a variaty of races for testing.

I would be willing to help out if you need more species. I have a wookiee, a trando, and a twi'lek on my account and access to my husabnds two accounts (6 available slots) to create whatever other species/sexes are needed.

I have 3 accounts and one of my live characters is a master id. I am more than willing to make one of each race on tc to test this mini publish out. My characters are all on starsider, Aielaso, Sehos, and Lisan, send me a tell Kwee, and i can log into test and you can experiment away.
Also, every time I have been on test, it is soooooo dead. What cities do people congregate on test, I know there are 2 test centers...which one are people on? If I can find where everyone is at, I can lvl Id to master fast and experiment this mini publish to life!
