Instead of taking away the player bases ability to migrate their own stats why not just add good incentives to make people want to have an ID do the migration? Here is my idea:

1) Leave players ability to migrate there stats the way it was.

2) Give IDs the ability to migrate stats beyond racial limits.

3) Allow IDs migration to take affect instantly.

I think this would be a better change. As a trando I have always wanted to be able to bring my Health sub-stats down lower than my race will allow and use the points to bring my Action sub-stats up beyond my Trando limits. I think this would give an excelent reason for people to seek out an ID for stat migration without taking away allof the player bases ability to tweek there own stats.

I would most certanly seek out an ID if they could make my Trando's strength go down to 550 and use the points to make his quickness and stamina go up to 500.

Also I am against IDs being the only ones to stat migrate. if anything it should be a Entertainer skill. Lot more entertainers in the galaxy than IDs.

however I DO think that we ID should ONLY enhance your migrate speed, and NOT be the only meathod of migration. I mean you can go on a Diet to lose weight(action) and workout to gain streagh on your own just not as efficantly. I am against instant Migrations or migrations beyond Specis limits(thats what buffs are for)

Any IDs wanna give some feedback on this Idea? I think the changes ive come up serve both IDs and the general player base. If you like this Idea please post it and let the Devs know how you feel. If you dont like my Idea then say so. If the majority of IDs or the player base dont like my Ideas then I will let it drop off of the boards. But on the other hand, dont go down without voicing your opinion in this matter. It's the largest sweeping change ive seen so far as it affects everyone.

Please post wether the upcoming change is good, or my Ideas are good, or if you have a better Idea that will not negativley affect the populous AND possitivley affect the IDs at the same time.

Please lets come up with something! I fear the coming the changes will cause alot of people to further devalue the system and with soo many alternative games,... who knows what will happen. Lets keep SWG going in the right direction!

Well the idea of putting stat migration outside of racial limitationsseems wrong to me, But on other changes id rather wait and see how they pan out before asking for changes on them. I personally wont be doing stat migrations if a tent is required, because i only do ID in myshop (ID salon) except on the first day when im playing with the new holo emotes.

I dont think stat migrations will be that heavily asked for, and it may be worth trying to get some names of ID's on your server from kwee's helpfull list a the top of this page.
