Thread: i am a master image designer on the radiant server!we need a way to make money!

besides all the people who run off without paying!even if they do pay ,this is not a good profession to make money!the ID profession is not in demand.i might be able to change peoples hair and nose,,but the total amount of people wanting work done is minimal.people dont think they have to pay very much for work being done ,for example::: i spent 25 min. taking care of this customer,changing his nose,tattoo,hair,hair color,style,you name it he wanted it changed ,not only didnt he pay me ,he lied to me saying he did pay me !there has to be something done about people being able to run away after work is done,and you know what?i only asked him for 3k for 25 min,thats cheap,,,desperation for a profession that makes no cash,

I always pay upfront for work like this. Maybe you should charge like that. I think people who are serious won't mind paying you ahead of time. I don't know for sure, but don't you charge per item? Like a fee for the nose, fee for the hair, etc.....

The new Image Designer interface which will come with the mini-patch shortly has a required payment entry. The customer must pay what you enter there to get the changes. That will prevent the run aways.
As for making money. I am a musician as well, but found if I had my Master Image Designer title on anywhere in the Theed or Coronet Cantinas, I would be mobbed with requests. I'd suggest The cantina or the starport entrance in either of those cities. On Wanderhome, they are insanely busy.

Hey Im a Master ID on Radiant too! 
As ive stated before Im pretty much my number one customer, heck sometimes....er...most of the times I shadow my abilities and I only have a preferred customer list and they can refer people. I never really charge and I dont get upset at stiffs cause Image Design is still a cashcow I mean you get money for temporary draining your mind.
