Image Designers no longer get XP if they did not make any changes.
This little change will probably mean the attrition death of the ID profession. With the slowdown in performing an ID and no XP for a null change the grind will take too long for anyone who is interested in actually playing the game and no one will want anyone but a master to work on them as they will lose anything that is above the level of the person trying to grind XP. As is usual the DEVs have found a new way to really make a mess of things. I'm dreading what they will come up with for the Dancer and Musician professions. They've already made a mess of the buffing system and they haven't even really tried yet.
/sigh
I had such high hopes for this game and this mini-publish only to see them dashed once more.

Well given that it calculates XP and gives it to you in a lump sum based on the total image design package you gave someone, you can get larger chunks of XP in a session.

Maybe so but that would require making many changes to a clients image and who is going to want a non master to do a complete makeover on them?

I would say this could be solved by a "practice mode" like crafters have, but I'm uncertain how fair that would be as "practice mode" consumes resources.
