Thread: So, now that the initial backlash seems to be over...

I find myself getting SERIOUSLY excited about this new publish!! Sure, not everything is what we were expecting... but the new color palettes are AMAZING, and they've been working really hard to get the bugs worked out before it goes live. So now, I find myself wanting to be mysteriously ill on Tuesday so I can stay home from work and have different colored hair every.... 2.... minutes. Sigh. I'm not thrilled about that either. But I can't WAIT to have fuschia hair! I mean, how appropriate can you get?
Who's with me? Is anyone else starting to get really excited to see this publish go live?

I still think the holo-emotes are tacky (yes, I've seen all 16 in person) and I still hate the idea of being the only way to migratet stats…but I am (and have been) pretty excited about the new colors and UI…although that wait's a bummer.

I've done some really cool stuff, but have been way to busy with graduation stuff, or I'd be more actively testing and screenshotting (graduation tomorrow). I love the colors. I love the interface. My main concern right now is the xp, which I hope is seriously being tweaked.

We've got Bald.
We've got freckles.
Eyeshape and angle were fixed.
How could I not be happy? The colors are just frosting on this cake for me. (Sure I'd liked humans to be a bit brighter, but that'll come in time. I wonder how people will feel when Irys becomes pink for a day...)

Yeah, have to say there will be more backlash tomorrow. Not too many people read the forums, I didn't start till I had been playing the game for 4 months myself. Hopefully, the players will not get upset with you, the ID community about this. I have tried to aim my annoyance about the stat changes to the Devs, but I fear when people who were unaware about this change see it come in tomorrow there will be a lot of anger aimed at you. It's wrong, but having seen the kinds of people running around in the game lately it could get nasty. Anyway, I think it is good you are getting some nice new toys, may even try some of the new things myself, though I will continue to campaign to have the slow current method and the fast ID method of stat migrating instated.

Congrats on the graduation NJ62 
I'm really excited about the new colors, and I just finished school so the publish hits in the three days I have off before my summer job begins.
I'm also very happy about the new interface, I never liked doing ID on other people as much anymore because I couldn't see all that well. It will be nice to do multiple changes at once *and* not worry about the light.

Na, the backlash has not even started. When this *self-Edit* goes live we will get the real backlash. Both from those who don't like the Stat mig and even bigger from IDer that will get sick of saying "No I can't those colors". In Fact I'm not sure I want to log-on for a week or so, until it calms down, IF even at all.

On the other hand, it looks like there will be a *lot* of image designers for patch day. So many people seem to be busy grinding it out before its too late so at least for a few days, master image designers maybe one of the most common professions instead of ther rarest.
