I haven't seen anything about a fix for this unless it was the post where (I think it was by Runesabre) we were told to relog to "fix" it... nice "fix" when what we want is to not HAVE to relog. 
It has been one of my major pains with regards to Stat Migrations since I first got to Novice ID. Unfortunately, going LD and logging back in does not remove you from the group so Key's suggestion might not work. Myself, I think a command-line to accept (much like /join to join a group) would be the best solution... especially if (as is often the case) a Stat Migration is the ONLY thing that they are getting (and would save us from having to start yet another 10 minute session of torture).

Or we could request that the ID-side UI remain open until the client accepts as well much like the secure trade UI does so that if a client goes unresponsive for (insert your patience limit here) we can just cancel and move on. (Chances are good that they would not implement a command-line accept, even with the fact that acceptance is fully macroable now.)

I hadn't thought of this. I'd hate to have other aspects of the trade window come along with it though... primarily the way the trade window has of closing at the drop of a hat. I made Master Artisan (all but the Surveying) while going from ID 3 to ID 4 (in the Entertainer line) just by crafting during ID sessions.
