Deteriorating ID work would only make the player base hate ID's even more.

Another thing.. I support the person who suggested that every thing a ID do should vanish after a certain period.. That would be realistic as people wold then need the IDs reguarly to keep up their good luck.. Let hairstyles go back to the ones from char creation after 2-3 weeks...

You came close to what is needed but missed, moretemporary IDs are needed (things like holoemote) particle effects and body paints would fill the need, I like to call them party IDs. But to make all IDs temporary is not the way to go.

What if people was able to stat migrate on the machines in the tent.. but only Imagedesigners was able to operate them and to start the 10 min prosess.. Then a imagedesigner could start the process and IDs would still be important.. Better then the Black or white solution where its either IDs doing it or back to the old system..
There seems to be good support for returning the old system to give customers an option to seeing us. I would like to see something added to use for stat migration, but I would it to be something to add fun to it and make it more of a social thing. I recommendhot-tub or particle rooms ( art team team could have some fun doing a particle room )

I agree...My idea for crafted disquises & make-up kits would be because the customer would want to use them for temporary purposes & would not want them to last forever...such as holiday costumes & outfits, or disquises for a mission coming up etc. These could be sold as crafted kits which the player decides when to use & it would last for a day or two or could even be removed sooner if the player wishes etc. This would be different from services we directly provide which should remain permanent until changed by an ID again.

No, no, no and NO!!! I refuse to waste my time or money on the droid/vehicle customization kits for this very reason... they don't last! I prefer to stick with holo-emotes for temporary services, thank you... I've gotten customers who just wanted their holo-emotes refreshed and expect more in future as they become more used and accepted. If the ID changes were not permanent, I would stop at novice and only bother to offer Stat Migrations (as much of a pain as those are to do)... or even just give up the profession entirely as so many others have already because of the timers and slow xp gain.
What if they were given the choice to "opt out"? Don't change the current system, but add things like cosmetics. A player who didn't care to obtain them could simply visit an ID for a permanent change to eyes or lips ( the current system ), or someone who did care to do so could have an ID set the eyeshadow to off and apply a neutral lip color so that the player could buy assorted cosmetic products and apply temporary ones themselves.
Hair could be "opted out" as well, however I think the ID should still be a part of that ptrocess. The player could go for a hairstyle change and the ID could set it to permanent or temporary. Selecting temporary would revert the player back to thier permanent hairstyle after a week or so.
I just want us to have more options here. The bigest drawback to these recomendations that that they would add slightly to the size of the character files.
