Thread: Sorri fellow ID'rs... But i cant take it any more.

  • demands for stat changes by players

  • cannot change my own stats

  • waiting two minutes for my lipstick


I had such high hopes for this revamp... but all it did was cause me stress...

I wish the rest of you the best in the skill... i love it before the revamp, and now its more like work then fun

I was at the point where I would get stuck in an ID tent for hours, with people being angry becuase i was doing a stat change ahead of them, and all they wanted was holoemotes. I didnt even want tolog in any more.


With that being said:

Please remove me from the list on kettemoor.

I am going back to my first love, Dancing...

ps. for anyone that is looking for a stat change, being an absolute jerk to the designer for something that they didnt want and was out of their control will only get you one thing... less designers around to help you.

What I think would be funny is if they took this logic of this change and went a few more steps with it:



  • Destroy Lair Missions: You must find a Ranger to give you the waypoint
  • Faction Missions: You must find an overtof your faction to give you your mission
  • Delivery: Artisans can only give delivery Missions
  • File a help request: Speak with a local politician

Bliss went on strike about a week ago for these same reasons. I took the title off. I'm not on the list here though. I just had it above my head and was searchable. I only id with her for my guildmates, close personal friends and myself, as those are the only people who I know will come with respect and not demand or act like I owe them anything.


I liked the changes, timers were a bit blah but I could handle them. People's attitude towards IDs and how some of them acted, I could not. With each passing day chould I understand why people had such a hard time finding an IDer when they came to me. Perhaps after a bit I'll start Iding for the public again, I do not know.


Right now I'm enjoying the player cantina I run in my guild's city and decorating houses for people.

My IDer is on vacation He is taking a nice fishing trip trying to get a stripe fish from every planet. So I guess what I'm saying is that maybe you should take a break from ID like I am and hopefully the devs will give us reason to return.

You obviously never saw Rapa dance—I can't speak to her ID abilities, but as a dancer she's one of the best I've seen. While I'm saddened that you feel the need to leave our ranks Rapa, it's worth it to have you back in the dancer community.

Sorry you feel this way, Rapa, but all *I* know is that I'm making more money now than ever before in the ID profession. Despite the timer, etc etc. , and I'mjust 4/4/4/0 at ID.


The only concern I havethough isonce they eliminate the timer for Master ID's in the tent, and since I am not master, I will no longer beable to compete with them.I'll then either have to go for master, or drop ID altogether. But in the meanwhile, I'm taking advantage of the situation as it is, and while I can.
