I heard this at the FanFest, so it's a rumor, but I thought I'd ask:
I was told that when SWG was still in beta, there were animations developed for the female version of walking. They were released during an early beta, but removed because they were hypersexualized, and disturbing for many people: both male and female.
The story continues that the male walk animation has since been used by every avatar and NPC.
I'd never heard anything about it, does anyone know if it's true? I just think it's kind of funny if it is.

Have you ever danced? If so, there are times when you walk out of a dance and you do this sashay of sorts. It's really interesting. Most of the time, I've done it on accident. Pressing the mouse button and walking forward a bit while dancing. It interrupts the dance but you can see a very feminine walk in there. Try it sometime.

I've heard the same, that female players complained the walk was too feminine. Now they complain it is too masculine
I'm a tomboy so I think it looks just fine. I'll sashay now and then but I don't do it constantly

I always thought there was way too much shoulder and way too little hip in the female avatar walk…but what do I know?

Yes, I feel very butch running around. I wish there wasa hint of some femininity in there somewhere.

This is not an ID thing but I think it would great if they added
- /walk sashay
- /walk standard
- /walk limpright
- /walk limpleft
- /walk manly
- /walk drunk
- /walk ?

Maybe /walk military
Those darn Stormtroopers are too casual in their marching. ![]()
The female walk animation could certainly use some more femininity. I mean... I even know some (real life) men with a walk that's less masculine than the SWG walk animation. ![]()

If you think the walk is non-feminine look at the run sometimes...

Yeah, but try watching a female in an exotic leotard from behind when she runs... it's REALLY hot. LOL
