First off my primary charcter is not an image designer but i do have a small time one on TC. tonight i came up a nice idea that would make ID's more needed and wanted:

Make the enviroment and what you do effect your apperance...ITs as simple as that

1.After being on Tattioone for a long time my skin should tan..

2.As days pass my baldness should devlop into a crewcut and so on

3.A couple months in game should age me a bit ( time seems to go by much faster here )

4.The dark sky's of Rori bring my skin from a nice fleshy peace to a whitish/pale

5.Eating too much junk from a chef would make me fatter while running around too much without eating will make me all bones

those are just some samples but i think this would be a cool idea because then it would make the enviroment seem more real while making ID's more of a useful proffession

I don't know if this has been sudgested, as I dont' frequent this board. I just randomly pick boards at times just to get a less biased view of the other classes.

1)Temporary Makeup kits. Consumables that allow temprary changes that only Image designers can do that anyone can use. Good for parties, etc. Either a)it makes you look like a preset image or b)each kit changes an aspect minorly until you get the said effect (at which point you use more to touch it up, or have a general touchup kit that will keep the effect for you)

2)Basic Disguise kits. Allows users to temporarily change the name.

3)Disguise kits. Temprarily remove the TEF and place it on later, at a safer time.

4)Adv Disguise kits. Allows ppl to show overt symbol of opposing side (for betrayal, etc).

well what this does is give you more buisness ( in the long run ) as most people dont want pale skin or to be increasingly fat or skinnny..nor do they have the time to change themselves back as it would cost them even more money and alot of wasted time

I think any improvements or added capabilities for the imager profession should be postive improvements rather than to correct a negative image. Just being able to add various body tatoos for all races would in itself revive a profession that certainly needs a more important / useful presence in SWG.

I think we want other professions to seek us out with a positive attitude and walk away thinking they added something neat to their appearance rather then just being able to go back to what they looked like before.
