Thread: New Secret ID Force Sence.... :)

I've discovered a new ID FS.. Not documented.. 
I can sence cheapasses.... Yep its true.. so far I am 6 for 6 on sencing them.. I can tell instantly by looking at them when they walk into the ID tent.. Something in the back of my head says "Great another one"... There uselly decked out in full comp armor.. Uber expensive weapons in hand... And they say very little during there Stat migration. Witch is another give away... Cheapasses never seem to care about things like there looks.. I think they never take those comp helmet's off anyways.. Man must get rip in that suit.. lol
Anyways, Lastnight I discoverd this FS abaility while IDing My 6th cheapass customer since becomming MID... Wont stop me from IDing players. I do after all have a no set fee policy.... I relie on customers being fair tippers. He thought 1k was fair for stat migration. Bet he wanders why he can never seem to get a ID to work on him lol.. He got the benafit of my no set fee policy.. Followed by my "I reserver the right to add anyone I wish to my addignore list once done IDing.." That way I wont need to keep track of his player name for the next time he wants work done dirt cheap or free..
But on a lighter note I did do one of mymost enjoyable ID jobs to date, just before CHEAPY showed up.. Had this Imp roleplayer girl and her.. Hmmm mentor walk in wanting to turn her from Plane Jane to Gothic Sith.. I loved that job alot!! Want my input on the looks and everything, it was a true joy.. Those are the players that make up for the smucks like the cheapass..

If some rude person wants work done from me I usually do it anyway even if they don't want to pay anything. I respect the fact my time is valuable, but so is my enjoyment..and I do feel satisfied giving that perfect look or fixing someone. I guess apprecation pays more than money to me : )

Yeahhhh ... I've got that.
Usually it's confirmed by wearing composite armor and lacking in the fine art of casual conversation. You can see it coming with, "So where are you headed after this?" "Dant. Solo grouping adn getting buffed."

I'll admite. My enjoyment comes from the makeovers.. Not the stat migration..
So when it's a stat only ID. It's even more unenjoyable when they arebeing cheap.. /shrug

So what if they're wearing compo but can make casual conversation?

In case you hadn't guessed from some of my other posts, my swordsman/pikeman and commando/smuggler are in full compo as often as not. (I'm not a cheapass, I swear…honest!)

There is a lot of powergamer folk in thegame that forget the basic of the RPg is role-play... somewheres under the PG of rpg is the term role POWER Gamer and it tends to encompass about 30-40% of the people that have no will to RP anything except when that ask why it takes 10 mins. the majority of player will conceed to roleplay when yuo chat them them up.. I've Stated a few cadavers though. they walk in, all in armor, then proceed to meditate.
if your batting 6/6 then you know the look and general vide that comes from a player that is only there because they have to.
My ingame-boyfriend is outta game fora bit so I started be all nice to the visitors and aned up having this guy camp my locationuntil I logged back in the next night. I'm like wow. I'm not sure anyone has camped my position waiting for me to come back. ... Alas he was another skirt wearer.. so I had to give him the gears which he just /mood happy'd and grin and nodded along wondering to god what he did to warrent my attention to him.

Why do you think I remastered ID when I switched from Live to TestCenter? I can attend to myself whenever I want for as long as I want. *nudge nudge, wink wink*
P.S. At times my pikeman/swordsman is a skirt-wearer—what's wrong with that?! (Slone looks hot in a thin pleated skirt, letmetellyou )

Oh I am more then happy to chat with past customers... Made anumber of good freinds that way. In part becasue I am freindly in genral, and in part becasue MID is a rare profession on my server. Sure I face tell hell nearly every night I play. Even without my title on. I've made it a point to be nice and explain I am busy with ID atm, or working on a project when I get overloaded with tells.. I made it a point not to add anyone to my freindslist since the new /findfriend command came out lol.. Most my new freinds are understanding.. Cept for this one kid who is a wide eye newbie.. I uselly help him out. Point out stuff he don't know yet and whatnot..

That's why I added the bit about conversation-ineptitude, in addition to composite.
It seems like anyone who can be social understands ID is a social profession and tips generously. Maybe the Composite is more like an Early-Warning Sign.

Without newb's there would be no new players and that would mean less people to play with which affects the economy because the newb need the high end stuff and work most times hard to get all the bling we take for granted which in turn drives the wheel and keeps the cycle and life going... not to mention once a newb discovers "stats???" means more customers because they soon realize the looks ans hair most nice ones are only vailible from high end Id's

I felt so honoured and impressed by such a great roleplaying i did the only thing such a lowly commoner as me could. I answered "sure, 50k"
he left.
