Thread: Image Designers on Scylla?

Since the scum and villiany of Scylla see me asking if there are any ID's on the Scylla board deserved one star, I'll ask here since ID's is what I'm searching for.
Are any of you on Scylla, and if so - what are your playtimes or when are you usually at the ID Tents on Coronet or Naboo?

I know I made a comment about those lists being pretty up to date the other day, but perhaps its time for another check/review for each of us to take a look and see what's going on for each server? We could create a separate thread to take care of it and notify people who is where, and just keep bumping it.
I'm sure the new correspondent would probably update that list before he/she does anything else.

I just don't understand why some (non-ID) people expect the list should be updated more than once a month... last edit 08-something. It's barely been a month - that's good enough for me (Especially since Kwee has so recently had her Kweeling, and retired from the Corr position). I used to keep every IDer on my friends list, just so I could pass ID work to someone else if I was busy with crafting/killing (ID is the only constant in my "template"), but found it more tedious to have system messages spamming me their online/offline status. I know however that only two months ago, I took the list of IDers in Shadowfire and emailed them all, asking of an update on their status. I know I would start to get annoyed if I was emailed every month ("You still an ID? You still an ID?").
So if *none* of the IDers in the list are online in your galaxy (I'm really hoping you did check everyone one, not just say "oh the list is 1 month old, I'd rather spam the boards."), then go to the Theed and Coronet ID Salons and wait a while. If no one shows up then, then go to the Cantinas in those respective cities. And don't just look for the tag... ask. Ask on planet chat... I've picked up a few jobs through there, just because I felt sorry for the poor guy.
Try Bestine as well, I wouldn't doubt a few Novice IDers are struggling away there, fresh from Mos Eisley.

The list is a nice idea, but face it , it just doesnt work. Players keep changing thier professions according to the flavor of the month. Here today, gone tomorrow. There is no harm whatsoever in someone coming to these boards looking for help. There are many ID's that read these posts that dont post themselves. Maybe they will choose to help those looking for an ID. Someone looking for our services is not spamming the boards.Time and time again many IDs complain about getting tells for ID work so they just make themselves unavailable. Well, that doesnt mean someone else doesnt want the work.
I would rather see posts that show us we are wanted then half of the "this game sucks" threads I see. As long as the one who is looking for an ID is poilte and not going off for not being able to find one of us, its not really a big deal is it?

I have anMID on Scylla named Miyax. Lately though, I have been working on my CH/BE on Eclipse who is doing the FS quests. I do try to log in with each of my characters at least once a week though.

I know for an absolute fact that more than half of the people on the sticky list are still IDs on Scylla because I've seen them IDing in the last little while.
