It's for both! So many times I make typos or leave something out and I just want to fix it! It drove me nuts when I couldn't lol.

For me, it's because I make all these STUPID typos that end up sounding perverted. For example, in the macro guide I wrote for the dancer forums, at one point I was talking about "doing a dance". I accidentally added an R on the end, so it ended up saying "doing a dancer." *SIGH* I'm gonna go back and fix that. LOL
Edit: SEE? I'm already making stupid typos. Sigh. LOL

Na, it must be a length of time thing also, because I hit it way sooner than that. I do think that making the ability to edit posts something you have to grind for in a forum is beyond idiotic though...

You need to have been a member for at least 6 months to edit posts. It is a "perk" of being a long time member.
