Hello there. I am an aspiring ID on the Gorath server (by the name of Nokhoi Iskia) and I have been having some problems with the Lightstrider Image Designs website. I remember going to it a long time ago, and it was fine, except for a little slow. It was nice, and it had everything I needed. The problem is, as of a few weeks ago I am having severe problems with it. When I go to the website, using either IE or FireFox, it will not show any pictures. The pictures do not come up, and it acts as if it can't find the pictures in the first place. This is quite depressing, as it was such a good site.
I attempted a work-around by going to the other website on the ID FAQ, but that one does not have the updated colors, and therefore is useless for a lot of what I want to know.
If anyone is having this problem, I would like to know I am not alone.

I just checked it and it all looks good to me. All the pics and colours come through fine.

That is the site I always refer my clients to as well....I just checked again, and I can see all of the images just fine. Perhaps it is the browser you're using? Internet explorer views the site with no problems.

Probably either a temporary problem with the connection or the Server of the site but more likely some problem with the settings of your browser

Are you on dial-up? If so, it sounds like possibly the combo of your slow connection and a slow server (and graphically rich) on the site's end might be resulting in a time-out. I'm not sure if there is a work around for this at the browser level, however. :-/
I use Firefox exclusively and have never had any problems with the site.

I have the same problem....it's not the connection or browser settings....it's my Norton Personal Firwall. If it's diabled everything loads right as soon as it's enable nada. If I can figure out a permanent fix for this I will post it.

Yes it definitely does rock and it does seem to be as easy as disabling my firewall.....but I hate disabling my firewall (I know I'm paranoid hehe) I'm still hoping to find a way to get it to allow the site in. If anyone has any ideas please let me know!!

I've also had problems with seeing the graphics if I have Norton Security enabled. Hopefully it's as simple as just disabling it for you. Because Pani's site rocks

*disables Norton Internet Security*
Well thats interesting. Come to think of it, the last time I looked at the site was before I installed Norton.
Thanks for the help everyone
Loading fine now.
And in response to a few questions posed up there: No, I have 1.5Mbps DSL, and no its not (wasn't!
) a temporary problem.
Thanks for the help everyone. Pani should add that to the main page, that if you are not loading pictures you should disable Norton Internet Security.
