Does anybody have a link or a brief description to how the Image Designer works? I haven't found anything about it in game and can't seem to get it to work.

do you HAVE the image designer skills? I'm guessing not, as I doubt they are too complicated to figure out by the time you reach master artisan.

image designer is an advanced profession. if you haven't been power gaming for 7 days, you're probably not advanced enough yet.

I may be mistaken but doesn't the entertainer start out with some basic image designing skills?

Malkore is a little off.

Image design is part of the entertainer profession yes.

In order to do image design... you need to 1: Be grouped with the individual you want to mutilate..

2: on radial menu, choose image design.

As a note: there are 4 buttons ( markings, body, face, hair i believe )... when you gain hair, you gain styles a little bit at a time.. not all at once. It will literally take you all of the hair styling group of image design professoin to be able to butcher hair well.

Reply if you have any more questions.

Image design sounds a bit dangerous.

If I want a makeover, who gets to choose my looks? The designer or me?

The image desinger proposes the change, but the person being designed has to accept it (a dialogue box pops up with options on). The designer only gets XP if the design is accepted.

So can you image design yourself?

Yes you can /im yourself... But the xp you gain for doing it is greatly reduced (By about 1/5th I believe).

The best way to go about doing it is to find someone who is willing to trust you let you do some image designing on them, make note of which hair style and color they have (so you can set it back when you are done if they want you to), and then go in and start changing things around on them.

Each time you make a change they have to accept it, and then you gain your XP. If I remember correctly, changing hair color, gives you more XP than changing hair style, so if you are just XP grinding, go with coloring.

Enjoy.

Yes you can image design yourself but at the reduced XP as someone mentioned. You let like 12 XP by working on yourself for the base changes.

To work on yourself, target yourself with the Ctl-1 keystroke (I mention that since many people don't know how to target themselves). Then type /image ... ir just /im if you want

The neat thing is you get XP even if you make no changes. So what I do when bored and waiting on something is select myself and this will call up dialog box of what to change so I pick something like hairstyle. It will then call up all the hairstyles you know plus have the one you current have highlighted. I just leave it on my current style and click ACCEPT and then click ACCEPT again. BINGO ... free XP

Seems like image design would be a hard area to advance in... unless you get a lot of XP for every one you do. Just seems like there's not enough demand for it ATM.

I think it's a very cool concept, though. Maybe there will be more demand as the population matures.

People have tried, but there is currently no know command to accept.

Just a personal opinion here: I'm glad that Image Design isn't fully macroable. It's easy enough to master, I'd rather it not be any easier.
