Howdy all!

I'm a Master Image Designer on Ahazi. During my time, I've found several helpful suggestions for increasing the fun and interest of image design for both the designer and the customer. So without further ado:

--HAIR--

1. Hair Color Options - the entire pallete of colors for all hair of all races with hair! Purple, pink, blue, green, etc. This seems logical since we are, afterall, in a galaxy far, far, away, where hyperspace travel is a reality. If we can travel at lightspeed, we should be able to dye our customers hair blue (etc)if requested.

2. Hair Style Options requests-

a. BALD

b. Leia's Slave Girl Hairstyle http://www.rebelshaven.com/Images/Leia/leia25.JPG

c. Long Dreadlocks for all races that have the HAIR and/or Hair/Hornoption. With the exception of Trandoshans and Wookies, who would just look silly in dreads. ^_^

d. More than one spiky and/or messyhairstyle for human males.

e. Trandoshans need hair - such as a braid or ponytail off an otherwise bald skull. Trandoshans don't need alot of hair or hairstyles for that matter, just the option to have *some* hair. Perhaps make hairstyles only available if the template contains no ridges, or do the zabrak example and combine hair/ridges. At some point in evolutionary models, scales became feathers and hair. (not that I agree with evolutionary models but anyway....)

f. More hairstyles, more hairstyles, more hairstyles (and additional lekku styles would be nice as well). People LOVE new hairstyles and resist being carbon copies of each other, even if it means picking less attractive hairstyles that they don't particularly like. So, more, more, and again I say more! Beauty and variety is the spice of life.

g. The floating hairstyles are not good, as in bad, as in extremely silly looking. Some of the longer human hairstyles FLOAT as they cascade down the back. This defies gravity. I've had customers refuse floating hairstyles for this reason. Most prefer their backpack cover their hair than to have their hair floating in space.

h. Apparently there were some interesting hairstyle options in Beta that are no longer available. Of particular interest is the zabrak top knot, similar in style to the zabrak pony tail attached to the back of the otherwise bald skull, but instead it issprouting from the top of the skull. I've had countless requests for the return of the zabrak top knot.

i. Hair attachments. Perhaps have an offshoot of master image designer and artisan called the Hair Designer, who could employ a crafting tool to create hair attachments, such as braids, ornaments, netting, unique head covers like skullcaps, scarves tied like bandanas, wreaths of flowers or vines, and avariety of medieval, orientalor renaissance hairpieces. Considering the variety of Padme's head ornamentations, this would be a nice, Star Wars-yaddition.

--SKIN--

1. Tattooes for all races with skin (et.al, no tats for Trandoshans, Bothans, Wookies)- Tats don't have to be big and wild to be effective. They can be small and not even visible from a distance, such as lightning bolts, small designs, Star Wars insignia, flowers, skulls, etc. Perhaps only allow them to be placed on the face. An interesting idea would be to have an offshoot of master image designer and artisancalled the Tattoo Designer, who would design tattoos from a crafting tool and sell them like any other crafted object. The customer would then seek out an image designer to apply the tattoo. This would give the masterimage designer field more variety and develop it beyond its current boundaries.

2. The issue of dark circles under the eyes of some male human models should be correctable with image design or just done away with entirely. These dark circles seem to show up primarily in male human faces designed to look oriental.

--TORSO--

1. Nearly all female dancers want larger breasts, even larger than the maximum options already offered.

--MUSCLE--

2. Nearly all male characters want bigger muscles, larger than the maximum already allowed.

--HEIGHT--

1. These options should be adjustable to as short as the shortest race on the game andas a tall as the tallest race in the game, for all races except those which are never extremely tall or never extremely short. Yes, there are humans as tall as an 8 foot wookie, in reality, and as short as an ewok. This would be naturally limited by the lack of information about alien species - et.al, since we don't know how short or tall a trandoshan would be [no real life templates to follow], this should be completely configurable. The same goes for twi'leks, humans, zabraks, mon calamaris, etc. Unless the race is notoriously short, such as bothans, in which case, at least give them the option of being as tall as the average human or as short as a jawa. I cannot begin to tell you how many bothans have asked to be jawa-sized!

That is all!.... for now! May the Force Be With You!

Certainly a lot of great ideas And many implementable by the art team, who apparently now has time on their hands to enhance the game. I started a thread on swg discussion that reached 9 pages here:

Not just males...

I would really like my female amazon to, well, LOOK like an amazon. While certain clothing, such as the many long sleeve jackets, do cover the muscles and make whatever strength they are, not visible, there are many sleeveless (and less) outfits, especially for women that show off just how little muscle we are allowedto have.

Males can look like they work out at the gym regularly, lifting weights and the like, but females simply look healthy. Certainlly not as if they could be a Master TK or carry a LLC, Flamethrower, or T21 around all day, as many of us do.

The arm muscles and leg muscles at maximum produce a sleek look, but what about actually muscular?I would like my amazon to looklike she just came outofmarine boot camp, not like a professional dancer. (No insult intended to our graceful and talented dancers.)

There is no ab definition on the female torso AT ALL, no matter what the setting. And yet, on earth, females do have 4-packs, without having to be professional body builders.

Am I the only one who wants this? I seem to be the only one requesting it.

Personally, I have found that I have to set Muscle on max in female characters just to get them to look good, but on male characters I need to set it around the midpoint (of course, I have never been turned on by muscle-bound hulks).
