I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you to like image design. And chances are most of your customers are going to aggravate you if you're bugged that you have to take up this profession when you don't really want to.

I'm not saying that there are never any rude customers even if you love image design. You do find some who are plenty rude over all. But as far as being fussy? Being fussy about your avatar's image isn't being rude. Being fussy it understandable and it comes with the territory.

I think it's very unfortunate that you have to take this profession when you don't want to. I think it's even more unfortunate that you're threatening to mess up the look of someone's avatar if you get frustrated enough while your travel you Jedi path. Seems very unjedi like to me.

It appears as if you dont like Image Design as a profession and certainly by doing free alterations you downgrade the respect for Image Designers on your server. By providing free changes, you imply to your "friends" that the profession is worthless to you and them both.

Perhaps if you yourself took more pride in the profession and began toact ina professional manner ,,you would not be so subjected to " unpleasant" experiences.

I charge for my services,,,and really dont have any of the problems you complain about,,but on the other hand,,I also love doing Image Design and wont ever drop it ,,no matter what a holocron says,,of course I wont ever have one,,i dont even carry a weapon,,nor do I have the million to buy one,,

Well, I also wouldn't consider "nitpicking about every little thing" rude - I mean, these people are trying to get their appearance fixed. They have to be happy with their appearance any time they're online (well until they go see another IDer). Appearance is not like a shirt you can unequip any time you're starting to get tired of it. Even though the mere existance of the ID profession gives folks an ability to customize their appearance, most people I've encountered are still very cautious about their looks, also because the ID profession is a small one, so you won't always be able to find an IDer when you're looking for one.

Of course, being picky about their appearance doesn't give them the right to insult you. But honestly, if you can't stand customers who won't be satisfied with a single change that'll cost 10 secs of your time, I recommend you don't use your image designs at all, and just grind out the xp on yourself or another person, then drop the profession again asap.

Wasn't even going to accuse you of starring folks Moon

If it isn't abused the star system is a decent idea....so easy to abuse it though.

As much as I hate to say it, Jaela is right. When you don't charge, people will take advantage of you. In almost every online game that I've played, I've been some kind of "merchant" at sometime or another. And what I've realized is that when you offer things for free, the first ones to step up, are those that aretrying to get by with afree ride. And people like that tend to have no shame in abusing what is given to them (imagine the beggars at the Theed starport, asking for 1000 credits to get to a high-level planet).
