I think this might be a question for you folks so I thought I'd come to the source.

Last night I saw a rodian with Twi'lek head tenticles. I did a lap around the guy and looked him over pretty carefully and I'm fairly sure that it wasn't a hat. Is this a hairstyle change that an ID performs? It was weird but kinda cool looking. Just curious...

It's an exploit. Some like to claim it is only a bug, but people OTHER than Image Designers have been known to be making the changes. Cross racial hair styles, and many other things.

As Abrin stated it is an exploit often performed by non-Image Designers. Our community of course hopes that the devs will look into the matter soon.

Non IDs? How is that possible?

Detailing explotis on messageboards is a big nono.

Pretty much, the exploit that makes it possible for IDs to make bad changes also makes it possible for Non-IDs to make changes.

You'd be surprised how many of the bothan and rodian styles look good on humans.

i bet this is just a result from the patch last night....but i have to admit i havent laughed more in a long time watching people change i hope thiswont change, well become of course image designer only, but horns are something i always dreamed of as human girl

My character is Twi'lek, and the other night another master image designer and I were playing around with this exploit. I must say, Twi'lek facial bone structure + a head of human hair = pretty darn cute!

I went back to the Lekku though...because I love being a Twi'lek!
