Thread: Thoughs of A Holocron IDer
I'm working up ID darn holocron told me to but it turns out i'm actually having fun and my guildmates help me out when they have a few minutes.
I gotta say that i respect the people who worked it up without using macro's. I'm learning alot about how the ID profesion works just doing things for my guildmates and friends I'm not quite into Novice ID yet on the 4th box in entertainer but i've learned alot already.
I can attest that it actually takes skill to give a person what they want from the vague descriptions most ppl give but it's entertaining when they start laughing about wierd hairstyles/eyecolors
Just wanted to put a happy post up after seeing all the negative stuff that some Holocroners have had the idiocy to put up here.

I've sadly given up Image Design.. I really did have fun a lot of the time. Often times people would say "Make me look like this" then I'd first try give them the look they wanted. Some of them said yeah I like that but let me see more, and invariably they would go back to the one I picked...
Or the fun games of guess the hair style in 20 questions...
Them: I want a certain hairstyle
Me: Well is it long or short?
Them: Umm, kind of long
Me: Shoulder length?
Them: Yeah...
Straight, or curly? Pulled back or loose? etc etc etc...Everyone describes hair differently...
And of course every human female that wanted "something different" I always showed them the spiral braid style first. *grin* I never got any of them to take it though.
Thank you for sharing Mystkyller
I'm glad you are enjoying ID!! It can be very fun, but also as Tiaga described sometimes frustrating. Two customers can be just as ambivalent about what they want, but a fun attitude can turn the session into a great time ![]()
Tiaga, I'm sorry to hear you have left us
We didn't always agree
but I always enjoyed reading your point of view, and I've loved reading all of your customer stories ![]()
