Thread: Better than I expected :)
Hey, well I am one of those forbidden Holocron users who was told to master Image Designer.
I was upset at first, until I started playing the profession.
Up until today, I had never even used an image designer. Now I can't understand why.
I am having so much fun tweaking my look as well as others. I can't get enough. I have been tipped anywhere from 1k - 20k (not even master yet) and it's fun to see all the people excited to have a new look. There are alot of RP possibilities for this profession (plastic surgeon and more) and I am glad to have experienced it.
Although I don't intend to keep these skills, I plan to make another character who will.
Any non-ID's looking into it, it's great and alot of fun. Any bummed Holo-folk beginning the path, don't be bummed. It's actually not bad at all.
I have read many posts from people that are just slamming this profession. Ignorance and simple lack of knowledge can do that. Keep up the good work guys and I am proud to be part of the ranks of this profession - and this is coming from a combat junkie.
If I'm ever single again, I am keeping your name for reference.
Yeah, I just sawy you guys getting alot of slack and I wanted to do the profession, and those who play it, some credit. People can't quite comprehend how people wouldn'twant to shoot anything. This profession was fun and a nice break from the monotenous routine of combat.
"People fear what they do not understand." Simple enough. All that matters is that you guys are having fun and doing your thing.

Heh heh. What's really nice is that ID doesn't use up all 250 skill points; you can still shoot stuff 
Dude, i just got a holocron too to tell me to do image designer lol! You are the first post a read so far on image designer so hopefully i'll have a LOT of fun, cuz i don't want this to feel like a endless grind (cough bounty hunter) TY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

If you approach our profession with the same intensity as you held for ch an pistol, you too might actually enjoy your time as an ID. Have fun with it, you might just meet your next great friend in a cantina. At the very least if you actually go to a cantina to find a exp partner, you will walk away with a better feeling about not only the ID profession but also the entertainer profession in general.
