Okay, I was messing around in Character creataion earlier, because it helps me to get a feel for what it's like ID'ing non-humans. It suddenly occured to me that I've never seen a Hair Trim when Image designing a bothan.
I got to thinking about it. At character creation I think that hairstyles with things such as bows, ribbons, scrunchies, etc, had an option to change the colors of those accessories. I tested it and Bothans do at character creation, but I never managed to get that option to come up to humans. I thought I remembered doing it once though, when I made Chari.
If someone can test out a bothan to see if Hair Trim is an option please do. Either way, I think this is something that should be available for Human designs with accessories too.

My alt is a Bothan female with hair style 16 (as per Pani's site) and hair trim color comes up when I ID her. As far as including it for other races—I wholeheartedly agree…Zabrak females have almost the exact same hairdo, but guess what? No hair trim color. Really stinks, huh?

The inability to dye hair trim for Bothan malesis something that was brought to the devs' attention some time back. The response was simply that it wasn't intended. But Bothans often complain that their trim is stuck at a dark green color, which doesn't always go well with their hair color.
