What if the profession was allowed to customise colours of droids, vehicles, armor and maybe even pets?
The creators of the original item's would still of course be able to make their original colour adjustments at creation.
Rather than running to different professions to get everything customised, the image designer would be the one stop shop and have more of a day to day need in the community.
To be fair of course, the specific tool kits required would still be craftable by their original professions (ID aint a crafting class).
What do you think?

just a thought, but alot of people really want to change there character type. like wookie to human. so, why not make a few items craftable by a master BE and a item crafted by a master image designer, using rare ingredients that could combine to change a chacters race?
I know its drastic, but
1. ID's would get lots of cash for this service.
2 BE's would get a high level item to sell to ID's
basically think about it.
its human genetic minupulation
and zabrack and wookie etc.
What do u all think.

Bad Bad Bad and worse than that even awful idea.. the concept of completely changing your race is just plain dumb.
Scenario: oh i'm bored with this char hey buddy change my race and redo my char now i'll just surrend my skill points and play a different profession **HEY LOOK I JUST REROLLED MY CHARACTER AT NO COST TO ME**
let me just say DUMB

so for us to change our race what do u want the cost to be? and anyhow the cost of somone changing there race would be huge like 300k or so. because the items used to craft them are rare spawns.

The idea has been nixed by Lucasarts. Besides, all of the races are not just cosmetically different. They have different stats.
