Alright here's the scoop, I was working to try and make some sort of a breakthrough, or at least a workaround with a shorter waiting period, something to make life a little less difficult for us IDers ..

Well don't get your hopes up because it may not work .. but it definitely shortens time ..

I was in the Coronet startport waiting for the shuttle and I decided one last Idea .. the official log

I asked a Mon Calamari a few questions about my hair; color, style, etc .. to make sure that was all set ...

I changed it to a blonde color and I asked him again, he replied, "It's brown now, not blonde." Alright, typical bug, right?

Well, I target myself, change my hair color to auburn and decide one last time to try and fix this.

Ok ... so, I said to myself "Enough with this bug crap, DEV's need to fix it" So fed up I tried doing the "long log", if you will.

First you sit, yes .. do /sit. Then type /logout. It will ask you to wait 30 seconds .. great, so I wait. Next thing I know I'm at the login screen ... so I log back in RIGHT away, not even a 1 minute wait, and I ask him again questions about my hairstyle.

Mon Calamari: "Uhh, you have a few small horns in front and a pony tail in back. Color? It's an auburn type color, a dark red almost."

Me: "Thanks, hon!!!";/cheek

:-P I'm very very interested in researching this further, as you noticed .. I didn't wait 15 minutes in my log.

Perhaps most people just exit and don't /logout. I believe /logout actually takes you out of the world after a very short period of time, or maybe right away.

Please, if anyone has any ideas whatsoever that might aid me, please let me know. Thank you.

Funny enough several months ago /logout always fixed it so people could see your real hair color. Then it stopped working consistently to where sometimes you'd even have to wait for the server reset. Honestly, our bugs make me very nervous, even we can't get a firm handle on them They are tricksy.

I agree completely. It's been said too many times. The DEV's ... you guys really need to start responding more to our cries.

It's really frustrating for all of us and I hope you can sooner realize the frustration we face every day.

A new issue I'd like to address out of topic, (sorry), is I believe that too much mind is injured for some things. And at the rate we get requests for ID's I have people sitting in front of me for up to 20 minutes a person because I have to sit and wait for my mind to heal because the client beforehand wanted to "run through all the hair styles".

And not only, but if we want to individually eliminate the problem we have to take a spice or some sort of food to buff our mind. But hey guess what, now THOSE are illegal and we'll get shot! Way too many things need to be fixed, I know we all know that and I don't need to say it. I really have to get all this off my chest, and I think I speak for all of us IDers when I say to the DEV's

PLEASE!!! At least tell us you'll try to fix something really important like the hair color bug in Publish 7. Or any recent update. I'm especially losing business because people don't bother when I tell them they'll have to log for 15 minutes probably more, or wait for the server to reset if they want everybody to see their new color.
