Dear Kurt,

It has come to my attention that you are toying with the notion of making an image designer more compatable with combat types. Stop right now! We are a social profession. We do not need to be mixed in with the soldiers to feel more important. What we DO need are our bugs fixed and more content added to our existing abilities.

After almost a year we have not seen one new hair style, or one new color. For some reason zabraks can only wear tattoos and you dare give us a 4th rank title of Tattoo artist? Wookiees cannot braid their fur. Twileks all have the same "fat" lekku. Bodies/faces cant be made "wider/narrower." Do you see what we want? We want more contentfor our class in teh realm of Image Design possibilities. We do not want combat spices to buff people with every day.

If you are so bent on giving us a role to assist combat types I made one suggestion:

I wanted to play off the spa/massage idea. The only buff that is never addressed is battle fatigue. My suggestion is that when you visit an image designer for massage or spa treatment you receive a negative battle fatigue buffer. In which case, as you collect BF, your BF will move towards positive:

ig:

Toron Lightrunner visits Kwee for a massage. The masage is relaxing and aids in the removal of his battle fatigue. Kwee suggests for 1000 credits she can revitialize his body to endure more shock when he returns to the field. Toron agrees and after an exchange of cash, Kwee proceeds to buff Toron. When the revitilazation is complete, Toron has -500 BF.

Now when Toron fights, this number goes to positive as he accumulates shock. So that at the end of battle one Toron has taken 50 shock and therefore has -450 BF. After several battles he takes 300BF more and now had 150 BF, and so on ...

Also off the disguise idea. ID's can make make-up FX kits. They can be of several kinds: Imperial, Rebel, Thug, Sandperson, etc... Wearing the disguise will not make you immune to attack or harassment, but rather buff your faction temporarily, say by +3000 for an hour. IF your faction still happens to be negative after the buff then you should work on your faction, as even simple disguises are not enough to fool a faction, you must do work to blend in to truely master espionage.

Giving us a role beyond that is not warrented nor desired. We get alot of business as it is being a rare profession. We like being rare to! However we need more new content to wet the appetites of the ever changing player. More hair styles, more colors, more body/face options, body tattoos, etc...

If you are bent on making us a semi-craft profession, have us make lipsticks, eyeshadows, maybe even wigs that last until you log off. Have tailors make "body piercing" jewelry and have us image designers "set" them on the player. The SWG engine has so much potential yet we have not even begun to see what it si you can do with it besides pretty scenery.

I do not think it would be unfair to say that you need to get the art department on our side for a few months. Every combat class is represented in the In concept forum, not one social or craft profession. Judging on how by things have been going the past 7 months, I will assume to see craft professions next then entertainer professions, with image designers yet again on teh back burner. Are we even still an entertainer profession?

You need to listen to the voices and correspondants of this community, not the combat class communities. There are literally dozens of pleas, wish lists, ideas and suggestions all over this board. Read them, this what WE want. We know what will bring us business. We do not cater to a combat crowd, we cater to a crowd that wants to look uniquely different than the rest.

I became an image designer because I like to create characters, make them look special, above all others. I do that for every one of my clients to the best of my ability, and it is getting more and more difficult to do with the lackof content. It is no longer fun now. Everyone I know asks me do I have any new styles, colors, features and I must sadly tell them ... no.I do not want to be a combat type. I am an entertainer. I like being in a cantina and socializing. Focus on that, Thunderheart, socializing...cantina...content...for the good of this community, I ask this. We are not wanting to be a role in combat, but rather a role in a player's image!

Oh, and fix the entertainer profession....
