Thread: What hairdos would you like to see?

In browsing about, I came across a post from about a year ago in this forum (okay, it was started by me) about which hairdos we don't have but would really like. Considering that a couple of our top issues (xp gain and timer tedium) have just been addressed, I thought it might be a good time (and sorta fun) to brainstorm about what hairdos we'd like to see added to the game. They can be movie or non-movie hairdos, and pix are always helpful!

Original post is here.

Another thought - what NPC hairdos would you like to see. I've noticed a large number of "hair + horns" styles on zabraks which seem to be hybrids of our current human hairdos, which zabraks do not have currently.

Wookieebraids. And twists. And ties. Both down the back and down in front. With decorations like wraps, beads, feathers (drool), etc. Both short and very very long. We don't have many clothing options but we have a ton of hair to work with!

Ithink they could probably give some of the male ones to the females and vice versa. I forget which exactly but, recall there being a few which would begood options for both sexes and aren't.

Better pigtails and dreadlocks are common requests and I have to agree with giving the wookiees a bit more love with their styling.

When there was that cross-species hair exploit when you could put the scalp of any species upon the scalp of another, male humans or zabraks would often wear the "pouffy" female hairstyle that looks like a huge fuzzball. It would actually gap and look strange around the edges, because, I believe, females and males have different sized heads. So, yes, it would be doable, but the wigs would have to be resized, it couldn't be just opening up access to the existing wigs.

My favorite NPC hairdo, hands down, is that Zabrak girl behind the waterfall in Dantooine near the Jedi ruins. She has those cornrows with the horns sticking out. Just adorable.

I would love a ponytail with ringlets , high up like a topknot but with ringlet curls one without fringe and one with face framing curl fringe (if you get me)

I would also love a long ringlet style.

the vixen style in a short chin bob with high cut in the back and layered fringe area that goes over one eye and slants toward the chin ( I would LOVE this one personally for Stosie)

female humans need a sarah jessica parker long curly hairdo. like maybe slightly below their shoulders, and clury all around.

twi'leks need the ability to move their lekkus by themselves. it doesnt make sense to me that a twi'lek cant reach behind her, pick her lekku up and move it to the front.

on a side note, lekkus are supposed to be the most sensitive appendages on a twi'lek. every wonder why, when wearing armor, they are the only things that are not protected?

As always, I have to say I want Wookiees to have the option of patterns shaved in their fur.

A skill for cross-species hairstyles would be nice too (it could be temporary like holoemotes)

Umm...I know of some looks I like, but I'll have to search around google for a bit to find links. I'll edit this later to add them.

2) Long beards on Human males (i'm talking four-footers)

3) Longspikes on Zabs

4) Tall Mohawks on Bothans

5) Vertical lekku on Twi'leks

Here's one that I would like to see. The only one that comes even close is Style 29... and that oneis not quite the same.

And Wookiee dreadlocks, since they don't exactly fit in with braids.

And patterns with a secondary marking color for Wookiees, honestly. I like this picture here, where you can see evidence of black, brown, and white. Maybe just an age slider that would add grey or white to the fur.

As an aside, I'd like an emote with animation to harass a Wookiee on my server with -- I want to pat my pockets and look for my clippers to shave (target). He's a Wookiee who keeps trying to convert me to the forces of good and I won't stand for it!

Edited to make the clicky work.

I've always thought it would be cool if we could have graying temples, salt and pepper gray, or other non-gray highlights in human hair.

while we are at it, how about a more gradual aging slider. The apparent agejumps from young teen or 20 something to like 50 in one step and ends at corpse one step before turning to dust.
