Hey, all. Last night I had a busy night in the Tent. Stat migrations, many stylings and even complete makeovers. Then this guy named "Homelss Man' comes in. Fat, bald, no shirt and just unpleasent to look at. I let a guy cut in front of him out of my own preference. Then, when everyone had left, HM stood and asked me for a haircut. I obliged, of course, and told him not to worry about payment, this one was on me. So I trimmed the back a bit and he was satisfied. He then asked if I could make him look grosser. lol...I figured "OK, never had that request before! Fun time!" So I made this guy look hideous. Then he asks what he should pay me. Assuming (like most of us do, right?) that he's broke, I say "Whatever you can afford...even if it's only a thank you."

He tips me 8k...

I was somewhat taken back. This guy who does nothing but panhandle at starports is willing to pay 8k for a crazy change yet those who come in sporting the most expensive clothing and/or armor whine about a 15k stat migration. My my my...something to think about

I saw homeless man outside of Coronet Starport....I tipped him 5k for the laugh factor involved. I think I saw him pre-ID though.

yeah, i love the ones that come in wearing full composite armor and say "but i dont have 4k" lol. Cant they at least amuse me by coming in wearing nothing, so it can help me to Pretend that i believe they have no money.

SWG is like pizza. Even when its bad, its still pretty good.

I've found that the people that tip most are those playing the game for purely fun purposes (ie silly-themed characters.) *reminiscent sigh of my old UO silly character*

When those fully armored people come waltzing in and say they don't have 4k because they had to pay maintenance, or spent it all on the armor after saving it for 6 days, needed a new weapon, lost their vehicle doing rancor missions and had to buy a new one......I tell them I'll be around for a while and they can go run some lowbie 2k missions from the nearby terminal.
