As it is now, macro grinders can get master ID within an hour. With the up and comming changes, IDers will become more important. So, will it also be made harder to get to Master? Otherwise people will bipass an IDer, grind it them selves, do what they need to and drop it. Sadly, it IS that easy to get.

Jesus…are you serious? This is insane. Not only are we talking about nerfing every non-ID by taking away stat migration you want to grief casual non-MIDs too? This is WAY too far off the deep end in fixing the admittedly problematic skill gain.

I'd hate to say it, but clicking 'Accept' multiple times a second is hard. Going through the menu for each design in order to get xp is just tedious.

Yay! I'm so glad this will make ID harder to macro through. It'll certainly improve life and business for those who are serious about ID'ing! Now if only they could make it so the rest of the entertainment professions actually took effort to master...
Message to all you hologrinders: If you plan on doing ID, you'd better do it now, because pretty soon you'll actually have to work for it.

/setimagedesign is going to begone I beleave so no more Marcos
however the XP per change is going up to balance the time somewhat.
Remember it takes days to master most professions(merchant/Polition) not withsanding so it should take us more then an hour with good buffs.

The first time i mastered ID it took me 2 days on the weekend... and that was without food or drinks. It shouldn't be much worse than that.

They have eliminated the ability to macro-grind, so it should be a lot harder to master now. Mastering in less than an hour was absurd. Right now they have the timing for changes set much too long and that will make image design the most difficult and long grind of them all. My guess is that the timer is going to eventually go down to around 30 seconds inside the tent by a non-master ID. I think that would get it down to about 10-15 hours of constant grinding, which would mean that the casual player should be able to do it in a month, I think.

I agree 30sec for a Non-master in the Tent should be about right. And 2 Days withOUT buffs is way to fast for ANY profession. It take a combater with Good buffs ATEAST 2 days of intence "playing" to master a profession. I also think there sould be better AFK checking to get rid of the AFK-Macro-Grinders while the new UI will get ride of the ID Macro-Grinder(atleast if they stay within the EULA) I think all professions can do without having AFK-Macro Grinders
