I think we can live with a fair number of minor bugs to be spread out in hotfixes - the only thing I really and truly hope is that our dev gets the hair color bugs fixed. The one regarding styles is a new one, but the hair color change bug itself has been around for many months now, and if that particular bug is still there when it goes live, we're going to have a lot of complaints on the live servers as people have to wait until the next server reset to actually display their new hair colors to other people.

I'd consider that bug THE big one at this point in time. The sooner we get by that, the sooner we can get to putting some bright colors on the servers!

I think it will be a lot of fun!

kwee and company have been working hard to point out the bugs and compile information for the devs. and i think the devs have been very good at squashing bugs and other issues over the past week. i am very impressed. i am aware that there are some pretty nasty bugs still about, but who knows what tomorrow's live publish may bring ^_^

i am curious though, and i may have missed it, but what is even the point of the timer on the new ui? o.O

It's to force ID mastering to take a certain amount of time. That's all Which is why us Masters are begging for body/cosmetic change timers to be removed or lessened

Well, i'm very excited about the new ID changes... but:

1) IF i can't ID myself because of a bug, and get an OIDO (outstanding image designe offer), i won't be happy.

2) If I can't ID more than one person because of OIDOs... i'll be one pissed off ID. Lets see if the devs can pull this off!

Does mind cost stack? Seems only logical if you're only getting "credit" (XP) for one change, you shouldn't be "penalized" (mind cost) for any more than one.

Edit: Skillgain still bad. Very, very bad. XP needs to stack. Timers need to be shorter.

Outstanding offer bugs are now at least fixed by relogging. It isconsidered a very bad bug by the devs and we have seen it decrease on TC.

Changes aren't costing any mind on TC. Not really sure how it's intended to be other than at some point I heard mind costs would be decreased from what we're used to so that we could do many changes at once.

Also, do we have any firm info on responses to our queries about timers being shortened in general, timers being made post rather than pre, stat migration being left in for the general populace…any other issues we've brought up since testing began? (Please say yes, I'm tired of throwing communication hissy fits)

I don't think anything we say will change the fact that stat migration is going to be ID only.

I've been passing along all of our concerns and requests and they are under consideration. However don't expect anything to happen if it's going to happen before tomorrow. The devs involved in this mini publish are swamped in debugging work right now and want to take some time evaluating how things go after this all goes live.

Exp is still one of those things I'm told will be examined closely. I'll share more info as soon as I can.

Please understand that this is not targetted at you, Kwee. I know you're doing your best for us, and for those that may want to join our ranks in the future—especially for them. But…examined closely?! For the sake of argument, let's say you get 300XP per change every 2.5 minutes (not possible since you have no body options at novice entertainer, but this is for the sake of argument) it would take 61 hours and 15 minutes to master ID. What the hell else needs to be examined?! Almost every other profession only requires 10-15 hours of straight grinding and ID would require 61.25 on the fast track?! We'd better get a whole lot more "critical function" if we're going to be forced to take that long to master. (That was sarcasm. I think we already served a critical purpose, and in failing to see that the devs have displayed a complete and utter lack of understanding for our playstyle. Couple that with herding us into NPC cities to perform their wonderous new "critical function" and I can only conclude that they have never played IDs, and have absolutely no clue what to do with us. At this point, I'd still rather they trash the whole patch. The UI is nice, as are the colors, but they're not worth all the "extras.")

Outstanding bugs will have to be hotfixed in the coming days.

Before you go pinning all your hopes on hotfixes for the bugs that WILL be cast in stone tomorrow think of all the many bugs that have been in this game from day one and have received absolutly no real attention. Sorry to be so negative but what I'm seeing from the DEVs lately has me very disheartened. I really love this game and had high hopes for it but I'm afraid it is not ever going to meet those hopes and will soon be a PvP only shoot-em-up. I don't think the DEVs are bright enough to be able to do anything else.

Ah yes…and the time mod for the tent still isn't working on self ID—better up those estimates to 268 hours to master. Revert doesn't really revert. We can't migrate our own stats. This patch is nowhere near ready for live.

Since I ama roleplayer and I roleplay that my character after being induced to Project G.H.O.S.T.'s virus programming which is in the testing phase and has been known to cause strange side effects, and my character's side effect is he was using a temporary Image Designing solution used in his new design theory funded by the Empire. Well basicly he is a shapeshifter, but I guess now Im going to have to stop and wait 5 minutes in between times I'd like to roleplay.....maybe master IDs should not have any time limit when IDing themselves I dont mind it on others...they are customers and it increases the customer relations factor, but on ourselves???? that should be zero time. In my opinion. The New publish looks great...gonna name my firstborn Kwee...cause SHE ROCKS
