So we have an ID Ayire (I think I just butchered her name), looking to get a pricing set up for everything going on.
I suggested instead of charging by the individual thing that the ID does, have it set up at a timed rate, that way across the board everyone is on the same page, and all the players know what to expect.
1k per minute for the time taken to id someone. That means you get the quick jobs done quickly for a modest fee, and for big jobs with indecisive people you get more compensation for the time it takes to get it done.
Maybe say a minimum fee of 3k or something of the nature (not sure how long adding the emotes will take from the ID terminals).
Well there's my little nugget, not sure what kind of reponse I can expect to get from the people who make the galaxies beautiful... here's hoping I don't need any ID work done to remove any burn marks.

Not sure how others do this, but I have my pricelist in my bio.
Its 1 price for a single simple change and I have bundled rates.
Holoemotes, facial, body sculpting, and hair/makeup packages, then state migration.
If you want a combo package then rates are negotiable.
I'm always willing to discuss pricing with my clients as well.
For a long time I didn't charge anything specific as clients would tip
on their own. It wasn't until several players stiffed out on tips that I
started with standard pricing. I'd either get a wave and they were off,
or in a few cases I'd get tipped 100 credits for almost a full body makeover.
I thought I was being reasonable when I said you can tip what you feel the
session was worth to you, but 100 credits is an insult.
I would never try to rip anyone off though.

To make it easier, I asked that the timer continue working up once it hits 0 so we have a better way to track how long we've spent on a session. Once/if we get that, I'll change to a per/minute charge.

Hello
Just to put my 2 cents in. The main reason I dont like the per min, is that I think It cuts the roleplaying down. I dont want someone afraid to ask questions, or just chat with me while its happening.(I'm told with some wiggling we can still see the chat bar, i really should have made a TC character). I like a nice flat fee.
P.S. Before getting together with the others I did the pay what its worth to you bit, got anywhere from 50c to 50,000 cred.

Heheh Needo, as if I would charge you.
I'd been getting 10k+ for ID's in any case, which were usually under 10 mins, sometimes up to 50k. But I think those same people would balk at set prices. It's tricksy but if there is a union on Scylla, obviously I'm in.
