Thread: Wookie Braids

I was in the store the other night and found my way into the toy department in my quest for super glue. While I was there I found a wookieaction figure from the Revenge of the Sith. I was impressed with how much it looked like my wookie, so I sucumbed to temptation and bought it. The only thing that is different really are these cool looking braids on the action figure.

So now with the boring build-up out of the way, I present my point:

Can wookies have braids? If not where would be the best place to submit the idea?

At the moment Wookiees cannot get braids here in SWG... But maybe we will see such things in the future... or maybe not... For the moment the devs are really busy to significantly improve other areas of this game (Combat upgrade, Changes to the GCW and the TEF-system and stuff like that).

Hopefully we can get some love again when the CU is done and maybe there will be room to improve the options for our furry friends as well

Wookiee braids... /drool.

I will continue dreaming of these until the day they shut down the server!

so what happened to the 20+ some new devs they hired specifically to give some love to the non combat stuff while they were working on the CU and GCW? I know they are working on the minipubs but it would be nice to see some ID love. I understand that things like the wookiee braids would require more attention, but why cant they just give us back the numbers on the styles and sliders? They were there, they made them disappear, why cant they just give them back with one of the minipubs? LOL

The last 2 publishes and the upcoming TEF/GCW changes are apparently where their efforts have been. I definitely feel their presence in the most recent changes.

if you have followed the Tyrant's letters and other dev-posts lately you will have noticed, that they managed to increase the rate of big publishes significantly. Instead of one big publish every 6-8 weeks they are now more like at 2-3 weeks per publish. They have formed several task-groups of devs working on different parts of the game... The effect of this restructuring and more "dev"-power can be allready seen and there is great stuff in the cooking for us all... but there are still more pressing issues to be dealt with, like the GCW/TEF-changes that have been anounced.

And with all that new "dev-power" it's still a fact that changes to the avatars are not as simple as they seem to be to us. It's simply not a matter of "just bringing back" some old bug, that was after all a bug, as funny as it might have been for us.

No, I was refering to the 'inter-race-hairstyles'... About the numbers I don't know why they disapeared or have been removed, but I want to see them back as much as you do.

okay cause when i said "why did they make them dissappear" if you read it ... i was refering to the numbers on the sliders, not the braids. lol
