Once you reach novice image designer, stat migrations are the fastest way to gain ID xp. You get 2000 xp per statmigration and every migration takes 4 minutes. You can't perform a statmigration on yourself however.

You can try putting yourself in the busiest salon in your galaxy to be able to perform lots of statmigrations on various customers. You can also try migrating the stats of another novice id and take turns, that way you can both gain xp.
