Thread: Image Design for creatures; n00b ID question from a MCH

I posted this on the BE forum, and they weren't really into it very much.

Would ID's have any interest in being able to change the markings/coloration on creature pets? Give that guy an all-black Gurreck, or crimson quenker with tiger stripes

Image designers can only change players, not NPCs, vendors, or pets. Sorry.

I know, that's my point Would you want to see this ADDED as an ability for your class? I know you can't do it now.

Well, I generally think this would be a nice touch, though it would possibly fit better into the BE profession? Would give another advantage to BEed pets. As a CH player, I'd also like to see this, one way or another. I doubt it's going to happen though, cause there are simply too many pet models to take into account.

This would work for some creatures (such as dewbacks) where the creature naturally has different colors. But for others, where the color change actually represents a different kind of creature, it wouldn't work. I can put it on the wish-list, but keep in mind that if it makes it, this one would most likely not be done in the near future, because it would require them to code in a different menu for every tamable creature.
