But even if i special order it, i will not be able to get the stats i want in the armor i want, do you get what i mean. For instance i now have armor i have gotten from all over the galaxie, all with stats i like, but there all in different colors. Now if i would of got the armor special ordered, then i would or would not of been able to get the stats i want. All i want to do is to be able to have my armor be the color i want with out haveing to have the armor special ordered. In other games, all i had to do is to buy dye's to change the color to what i liked.

I was asking that ID get the chance to change the color because its is a design item to change things on a character. I think many ppl would like this feature, especialy if they didnt like the color of other things ppl have. You would get more customers and hopefully credits.

But the only thing that we can do right now is to order something that we will not like in the stats, or just get the stats and just play with armor that is missmatched in color.

Now if an armor smith can change the color after it is made, im all for it, but i think they get enough money and exp for me wearing the armor anyway. I think ID should get the feature of changing the color of items and armor.

I'd have to agree with tummygrumbles. I understand that folks want to have max customization in all areas, and that it might be frustrating if the respective classes aren't overly interested in the proped change, but randomly adding it to another profession is no solution either. It's similar to the "let IDs change pet colors" suggestion - I repsect it, understand it and even agree that more pet colors would be nice, but it's not quite fitting to the image designer profession (though more so than the armor color customization, since pets have at least hair ). Hairstylists deal with colors, but just because of that, they wouldn't be equally qualified to spary a car. Same thing. So, while I am in favour of additional armor colors, I think this should be added to the armorsmith profession.

As wonderful as it would be to have a new ability, I have to agree with the others that it would be right for armorsmiths go get it You are sweet to want us to get the credits for such a potential change

I dont know if this should go here, but i will post it anyway. Since there is a mass amount of armor in the game and it seems that the armor smiths really dont want to add color to many of there goods, and the good goods they make come in a color i really dont like( i should know since my cool armor is many different colors). Please, please PLEASE let image designers change the color of our armor.

I would like my armor to be unique and a certain color, and i would like to pay an image designer for it(wow a new sorce of funds). I know that armor smiths can add the color wile making the gear, but the gear might not be what im looking for. Im always looking for the best stats even if i go to different vendors(if i can find them), but there never the same color. So again i would like to beg and grovell, let image designers change the color of armor.

I'm all for adding things to the Image Designer profession, but this isn't really related to the profession in any way. Additionally, as you said, Armorsmiths can already do this. It seems to me that if you really want armor in a specific color, you need to custom order it. If I was an Armorsmith, a Tailor, or any profession with the ability to color my creations I would not at all like that ability being handed out to Image Designers. Along the same line, I wouldn't want them giving Tailors the ability to change hair color justbecause it's too hard to find an Image Designer to do it.

I've got to agree with tummygrumbles on this one. As fun as it would be, it's just not right to take another professions abilities and divy them up between others.

Right now I see Image Designers as working on people themselves, not anything else. Armorsmiths should be able to do more advanced design work on the armor they craft. Don't just leave it at color, let them add markings and painted designs or decals as well. The same should be for other professions. Let the Droid Engineer customise the appearance of their droids in a more dramatic way, and let Bio Engineers create creatures with different colors and markings. (Not Creature Handlers, they have nothing to do with the way a creature looks.) Weaponsmiths, Tailors, Architects, etc...

PLUG: Give Image Designers more new options outside of character creation! Thank you.
