Thread: Apprentice Point Scaling
Here's a screenshot of said training, just in case anyone thinks I've just gone nuts:

I blurred out the trainee's name just in case they didn't want their name here.

I was wondering whether it depends on the skill points that are required to buy a skill? That would explain why you get few apprentice points for higher level skills in advanced professions, cause the cost of skill points drops the higher you get.
That's a good point. I bet that's what it is.
I am not at all familiar with how Apprentice Points scale to skill level. My only three characters are Image Designers and none of them are masters yet, because Image Design is their only profession and players needing training is rare. Training someone just recently, I started to wonder how the system works...
Training an expert level ID skill I get 30 apprentice points. Training a master level skill, I only get 20. Is that right? You earn less points for training more difficult skills? Does this rule hold for all skills? Would training the lowest ID skill earn the highest apprentice points?
I do believe you are correct.

I believe the apprentice experience gained by training someone is directly proportional to the skill points needed. App Exp = Skill points * 10. I am unsure how training a master works, however, as I've never done that.
that is correct...apprentice points = skill points * 10.
You get 10 points for training master image designer, but you get 60 points for training master entertainer.
Yes, it sucks, but...
I have been capped on apprenticeship xp for so long that I would probably have re-capped 3 or 4 times.

Oh well, if this is my moment of fame, I'll enjoy it for what it's worth!
(That was me that Colette trained. Once again, a very big THANK YOUfor taking the time to meet me...)
