The only reason I'm posting this is because I was very surprised by the response I got from my Master ID tag.

After I trained Master ID, I went into Anchorhead, and got bombarded by /tells...

It was almost staggering...I had no idea! From there, I decided to run out to Jabba's Palace (trying to finish those missions), and got 2 messages when I was right in the middle between Anchorhead and Wayfar! (if I remember correctly, it's about 5000 meters between the 2 cities, and there's NOTHING out there!)

Any suggestions on the best time & place to have/not have your Master ID tag on?

My character on Intrepid is a Master Image Designer -- I've always found that its best to turn on Novice Scout, or basically anything else, while you are not in a city. If you're in a city, standing around at a starport, cantina or med-center, I flip back to Master ID just to see if I can be of use to anyone.

Mind you, that doesn't stop return customers

Of course, I'm not trying to discourage customers...I'm just trying to keep it under control.

Until I reached the Master ID level, the requests were very few and far between...I wasn't really able to develop a good customer approach. I guess I've got a little adjusting to do!

Congrats! I would suggest having your tag up, and after a handle-able number of people have lined up, let them know you will message them as their turn comes up and turn your tag off. I've found that works for me If I'm heading to the bazaar for business I will typically turn it off until I'm done buying hides or whatever It's funny though some days I'll be swamped with clients, others I won't get a single request. Maybe those are days other Image Designers are in town Which happens a lot in Theed! Good luck!!!
