Whats the XP cap'swhen you have level 3(Req30k xp)and level 4 (40k xp) ID skills?

In my experience, the XP cap is always the next level's required XP times 2. For example, if you need 30K for the next level, you will reach the cap at 60K.

Usualy is yes, but some times its not.... When you have Doc 4 skills is 60k cost, and caps at 80k

I've noticed for non combat profs it is double your highest skill box to a maximum of double the third level ones still giving you enough to get next level.
