The example seems to be talking about a person ID another person. The original poster is talking just about ID'ing himself. I don't think you can fix the problem by yourself guess i have to go ID someone else to correct it.

Note this doesn't end the bug, it just passes the bug. The only known fix is a server reset

Read the fix, there is a part that tells you how to solve the problem when trying to ID yourself.

i got the same error while IDing a friend , it was ok for about 1 hour worth of ID then i get that same error. same error trying yo ID myself. i tried both fixes and it did not help.
