Depending on your species, many different uses. Carbineers tend to use action pool more. Medical folks tend to use Mind pool more. Some folks find nice armor and can put it all on with some Stat Migration. When I first started the game, I migrated a lot. Sometimes twice a week, depending on what I needed or wanted to move around. As I got more experianced with the game I migrated less and since I started the game right after launch, better equipement came out as the game progressed and then buffs came, et. Therefore, there was less need for it unless I was doing a major profession change. But I still liked doing it without the help of someone else. And I'll still do it when needed, I'll just have to pay for it. BLAH!

Basically the ID's now are the only method of migrating stats. The changes are identicle to the old ones just that an ID does them in 10, VERY BORING, minutes rather than you waiting a period of time. The steps for stat migration are :-

1) Change stats as before - although you've changed them to figures you want nothing will change yet.

2) Find an ID ( not sure what level you need to be to do sta migration ) who is happy to help. If your luck they'll be at the nearest ID tent, otherwise expect to be charged their transport costs ontop of the migration charge.

3) Meet up at a pre-arranged Tent.

4) Group up and ID will start migration.

5) 10 mins later the ID can confirm you want to migrate - during that time they can give you other ID changes.

6) Whilst waiting you can now enter the charge ( I'm guessing 10-15K plus travel ) into your ID screen and the charge comes from your bank or cash.

7) When the ID confirms you can accept - if you enter insufficient funds then you won't get the stats changed.
