Thread: I'm not an ID, but what the heck is a Holo-Emote supposed to do?

I've seen a few screenshots of various emotes...


But I'm puzzled....What's the purpose? What are they supposed to do for your character and those that see them floating above your heads?

Its suppose to look nice. Thats it. I dont see whats so bad about it.

Well they are what you make them.


On Bloodfin they are being used as battle flags. Those emotes show up like a shout and draw attention when a player needs help!


Entertiners are using them for their shows


They are a social tool. Generally they are fun to use and interact with.
