As a tailor and an image designer, I have noticed a trend lately that makes no sense to me! Why would anyone trust an image designer selling their services covered from head to toe in armor, or a fully armored tailor (or one wearing no clothes)? Most of us who take our professions seriously put a lot of effort into our looks and in a way we are walking advertisements! When I see people in the tents wearing full composite and a master ID tag over their head selling their services, I can't help but think that they probably were not an ID last week or ever were in the past (unless they hologround through at one point). When you choose an image designer, *look* at them! Do they have a well balanced face? Are they strange looking because they are missing their chin? Do their eye, skin and hair colors look good together? Have they adjusted their proportions so that they fit into their clothes? If they look "wrong" then you might not be getting the best service you can. You can say the same for tailors. Anyway, its just a mini-rant, but its something that has sort of bothered me lately.

P.S. Why do my fingers type different words than I am thinking?

I should go stand in Coronet with my MTailor/MID toon dressed in the worst clothing/color combo I can think of with the most horrible face/body proportions and see if I get more business that way, or dressed/IDed to a well-put-together state. To be honest, I don't think it will make any difference. Many people just look at /who and see Master * and /tell.

I do agree with you. I rather go to an image designer who makes their appearance pleasing.

Although with the new changes, and me being a Twilek I am tempted to make myself up with rainbow colors, different color for each thing, body, the lekku pattern, lipstick, eyeshadow and eye brows. I think it would be fun. I already looked like a watermelon, and a pumpkin(sorta). Also I have other bright colors and patterns I love to use. I must have changed my looks at least 10 time yesterday!

Sorry rambling, I just so love this mini publish.
