Great ID content in the mini-publish, a whole array of new things have been added and I've been seeing the holo-emote spammed up and down the streets of Theed, so apparently people are in love with them. My question, however, is with all this new content -- when are Zabraks going to be able to be red?? I'm so tired of being pale, I barely look like an alien; just a human with a Mike Tyson facial tattoo andhorns glued to my forehead..

Sadly you will see that most people want to look LESS alien whenever possible. To the point that their main wish is not Star Warsy, alien, new, cool, imaginitive stuff...it's to have clones of actual modern Western Earth fads. People do not want to look alien. They want to look as much like attractive humans they want to be IRL, as possible. Sad. Unpopular to point out. TRUE. A generalization, but everyone knows that for every "give me different horns"...you get 10 "can I just look like a regular human pretty girl instead of an alien Zabrak?"

Ironically, Darth Maul was not red. Zabraks don't come in red. He was tattoooed red with black...his whole body was one big tattoo. Not only are Zabs famous for using tattoos (it's not something humans do in SW)....he was crazily extreme about it.

Which is why they should enhance the ALIEN, unusual features of the races, not give them all the same bland stuff. Zabs with all sorts of full body tattoos, wookiees with strange braided fur decor, bones woven in, etc., humans with wierder hairstyles like the people in cantinas in the movies. OTOH, if humans got the styles fro mthe movies, NO ONE WOULD GET THEM.

My theory is that the Devs were ABOUT to do new styles for hair. Then they saw the Astromech stats which no doubt show that 99% of humans get ID'd to have the same 5% of existign styles anyway.

If I remember right Darth Maul was said to be a "Zabrak with EXTREME tattoos that normal Zabrak don't have" So don't expect to see red Zabraks anytime soon. On a side note I LOVE the red skin for Twi'leks.

I would just like to respond cause I just posted regarding the zabrak horns and hair. I for one don't look that unusual now simply because I think there is not much choice. For example I haven't seen the horn colour palette yet but my understanding is that there are many variations on boring colours, nothing unusual or alien like green or red. I wish there were more options.

i dont ever really post anywhere but this is stupid. I dont care about what darth maul was or is not. i just cannot believe that zabrak dont have a full color pallete of skin color!!!! WHY ? Why NOT? we are aliens and we should be able to look like darth maul or look like a unique badass zabrak. We pay for this game why cant i have whatever colors i want!!? i have been waiting for expanded zabrak colors since i started this game and i am very very disapointed. If SOE reads this PLEASE GIVE US FULL COLORS!!!

I have a Zab in my guild who lets me ID him, just to play around and find new looks. In the horn colour pallet there are greens, blues, purples, pinks and I am sure I am missing a few The colours are very light, but much better than the origional 4 (5?) we had. I did one shade of green on his horns and it came out a metallic looking shade of light emerald green. It was very cool. I'd reccomend visiting your local ID'er and having a look at what's avalible

My Zabrak on TestCenter has pearlescent purple horns, almost mother of pearlish—there are some very cool colors out there, it'll just take some time to weed through the immense palettes we now have to find them. (My Zabrak MID on Live has the starkest white horns available, although that will likely change next time I tailor up a new outfit…)

As for skin…no, we don't get any outlandish colors…but the wider variety of "natural" colors just might make all those nudesuit requests I get as a tailor that much easier to fill ("Hm. Not quite it—let me tweak your skin tone up a family and see if that does it.")

75.9% of people believe 85.6% of what they read 29.7% of the time. Altho I'd have to say that what you said is 100.0% true. Most people look the same. I can't count the times I've stood at a starport with people waiting for the shuttle and counted all the human males with brown short hair and a brown goatee. Nobody changes anything aside from hair and colors much. My human toon is a total facial reconstruction. There is nothing "character creation" about him, and I like it that way.

Altho, if the devs believe we don't need more styles because we use very few of the existing ones, they need to realise that most of the existing ones suck. More styles would promote more changes. Had so many pissed off people after the patch wanting to look like Thrawn who I had to say no to. I don't understand why they don't just make 1 pallette and leave it at that. 500 or socolors for your hair, face, clothes, etc. It's hard to look different when there are 100 guys near you with the same hairstyle and beard.
