Image Designer Archive

I remember reading in the FAQ on this site a while ago that a beginner Image Designer would only be able to change a characters appearance temporarily and that an advanced ID would be able to make permanent changes. Has this been implemented in the game as of now? Is it planned for the future?

I have decided to be an image designer in the game and I would hate to be lying to my customers out of ignorance.

To the best of my knowledge, all changes are always permanent.

I'm starting to think that having fading effects would be a good idea, even for masters. Although we have business now, and always will as new people show up and others get bored with their look, since there is no decay or wear, a lot of customers aren't repeat customers. This is completely different from RL where you have to have your hair redone all the time.

It is another argument that we should be setting prices for really popular cuts rather high, or else in a month, everyone is going to have similar hairstyles and all of them master level styles.

I go both ways on this argument.

On one hand, it would be nice, no doubt, for future business.

On the other, I have a feeling that people that come for a change will want another one sometime in the future.

I think some players are set in the way they look forever and some are always wanting to tweak something.

I have Expert Markings Customizations and Hairstyling 2 on the Kauri server...I can usually be found in Theed or Kaadara Shoot me an email or tell and we can set up an appointment!!
