Is anyone able to see a difference with age? I received this skill tonight, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Could it be my video card? that is what somebody told me.

Anyone else have this problem?

You need some particular effects that your video card provides to see the age effects. I can't remember what this is called, but it looks like your card doesn't support it.

At character create, the left position of the slider wasmin age (no wrinkles)andthe right was max age (lots of wrinkles).

Don't feel too bad, Fayle. I'm an image designer with a bad video card too! I'm sure I will have the same problem when I get to Master.

The thing is... I didn't know I had a crappy video card.... GeForce 2 :-(

I've read that SWG used the Geforce 4 to make ultimate graphics only those people could see, but still allowing for lower graphic cards. Age is the only thing I know of that you cannot see at all with a Geforce 2 or equivalent. Can you see it in character creation?

Ummm...I am confused now.

The option to adjust age is not even presented to me at character creation...there is no slider at all for this...and I have a nice video card too.

Am I missing something?

What video card do you have, and how much memory does it have? I have a 128 ATI Radeon 5800 and I get the option for age.

I vaguely remember reading that the Geforce 4 MX (which I have) and some other cards don't have [insert technical rendering term here that I can't remember right now], so the age propertyis disabled on your system if you have one of those cards. I didn't even know that age was an option until I went to a friend's place and saw him fiddling with it.
