When I change my hair and horn colour, the changes are only visible to myself, not to anyone else.
When log out, and log back in, after changing hair style/colour I am bald. I appear correctly at the character select screen.

Same problem when I do someone else's hair.

Yes, this is a known bug, I hope they fix it soon! They already ignored the Image Designer in the updates they are currently planning to under the "In Development." I know this isn't the most broken profession, but it doesn't seem like it would have been that hard to just fix this bug along with the eyebrows for Twi'leks.

Does this mean that whenever I do someone's hair, the colour will be messed up? This will not get me a lot of happy customers..

Or does the colour return after a while?

My experience has been that when I change my customer's hair, their hair appears to me (and everyone else in the room) as a dark brown (or whatever the choice is attached to the left end of the slider bar for that species). The customer still sees his old color. When they log out and back in, everyone will see the old color and new style.

I've never been bitten by the bald bug. If I could knowingly duplicate the bald bug, I could get my customers who want to be bald exactly what they want, and I probably would do it too.

What sad news to discover every single client I've practiced on to be come Novice Image Designer is going to log on and immediately start complaining about their hair. Come on developers! Give us a BREAK!

I always let whoever I'm working on know that once I change their hair style and/or color, That the color will be that brown color, until they log off/log on. Knowing this ahead of time makes it easier for them to deal with it

I do have this happen, and I make sure to alert my customers thatthe color will not display correctly to others until they relog. The only time I had the bald thing happen was when one client went ot relog to fix her haircolor. Evidently she either did just /quit or did not log off long enough because she never really left... when she came back she was still bald. However, the next time she logged off long enough for her char to disappear and then came back on and everything was fine.

Luckily she was on the phone with a friend who told her when she disappeared so she knew how long to wait.
