Thread: Scream from a Rodian: OH GOD!!

Hehehe... Im a Rodian! Like other aliens I go with the fashion and style! After all the sweet Rodian females, are not cheap... And won't be impressed easy...


So here the other day Iwent into and cantina, and asked around for an image designer.


This female Human comes to me, and says she can try.


She is saying that I will get whatever I want for free, if I will just accept all the changes that we are trying so she can get her xp. I say fair enouge and she begins.


She makes all sort of "Frils" for myhead and frill colors, but in the end... It just didn't looked cool.. But what is this mate?


It cannot be changed back to a plain bold beautiful rodian head


Why can you change something but not change it back


Is it even possible to be a bold rodian again after character creation?


Please help..

Do you mean bald? If so this is in the client faq here:


Q: If an image designer changes me, can he or she change it back if I don’t like it?
A: Yes, what an image designer can do, an image designer can undo, with the exception of hair. Lower level image designers do not have access to all the elite hairstyles. Therefore, make sure to ask your image designer about this issue before accepting any hair changes. Please remember that image designers cannot make you bald (except via a loophole that may no longer be open) so if you are bald already, think very hard before accepting a new hairdo.

People, let's not forget the bald workaround. I'm sure an experienced ID can maage that for our bug-eyed freind

Q: I don’t have the ability to make people bald! Woe is me!

A: Fortunately there is a workaround:


  • offer client hairdo (any)
  • client clicks "x" box in top right corner
  • offer client hairdo (any)
  • client accepts
  • instruct client to destroy "wig" that will appear in client inventory

Honestly, it's not MY fault bug-boy can't take a compliment. You wanna know how many times I've been insulted by Rodians who 'don't like my Antennae'?


EDIT: And I thought insectoid-like eyes didn't have tear ducts?

I was bald till just a little while ago when an ID needed xp and i helped them get some. I have done this many times and they have always changed me back via the loophole. But this time it wouldn't work no matter how many times we tried the wig just wouldn't show up. Did they "fix" this? Why change it if they are going to give ID the ability to make you bald like they always should have?

Ack! The poor Rodian! ::ahem:: I happen to find them quite pretty and cute. ::sage nod:: How can someone not like the cute anteana and the pretty way that the color on their nose blends with their subtly mottled skin? And the shine! Not to mention, some of those males have quite the handsom frills. And there's something about the pretty light in the females' eyes. Mean humans....

It's allright. I had a wookie compliment me on my hairy back the other day. Cross-species compliments are probably just left unsaid.
