Thread: Idea: Temporary Modifications

(Let me preface this by saying that I am new to ID and new to this particular class board. So, if this has been discussed at any length, I apologize in advance.) 
With all of the new changes upcoming to ID, I was trying to think of ways to make IDs maintain some staying power two months down the road. What I think would be great for the class is if many of the modifications were temporary in nature, much like real life. If you get your hair dyed, or put on body paint, it isn't going to last forever... neither should ID changes. This will keep people coming back, and allow image designers to setup more stable shops than they have now.
Thoughts?

The Unnatural colors and hair accessories may beTemporary Modifications (see http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=image_designer&message.id=10791) , I have not heard if they will or will not be. I would hope that all IDs would not become temporary, just IDs with wild colors ans styles ones that you would like to see at a party. Today would have been a great day to have tempory green skin paint

While I've asked if temporary would be possible, I have heard no word that the new changes will be anything other than permanent.

I can easily see how there could be programming issues with Temporary IDs, but I also think thatLucas would prefer unnatural things being temporary. I just hope it can be done, but I fully understand if it can't.

i realy hope wild hair will be perma because im going to be sporting blue or green hair 24/7)

The new colors best not be temporary. This is a major boost for the ID's out there, and I DON'T want to see them go the way of Vehicle and Droid customs.... sheesh that would suck.

No kidding. I can see tons of work with the new changes and the new colors. And finally we can ensure payment with the secure window.
