Thread: Intergalactic Image Designer's Union/Syndicate?

Currently i'm the leader of the (only known) Bria Image Design Union. With the upcoming big changes, should ID's across the server unionize and set inter-server prices? While it may be best for server-specific prices, who knows what we could accomplish. The DEs did it, and were pretty sucessful. So, anyone interested? If so, contact Carpathia (me) on bria (bria.Carpathia i believe)

Bria needs to be capitalized, notCarpathia. Bria.carpathia


If I thought there were more than three image designers on my server, I might try this.

Wikoo from Kauri tried to hold a meeting for all IDs on the server to discuss pricing ... and no one showed (I was working! ).


An intergalactic pricing guide could be useful--but the economy of each galaxy is different. So, what one server thinks of as pocket change, another could see as a fortune. I know a million credits is not that big of deal on Kauri. ... and yet somehow I still get stiffed!

Yea, Bria elimanted the ability to get stiffed (strangely, the only people who get stiffed are non union members. coincidence?). Anyhow, even if there are 3 or 4 other IDs on your server, get them all together! I'd rather have to only unionize 3 or 4 other IDs than the 20 or so on Bria. That could be one of the things we discuss at an inter-server meeting. Maybe have set prices across the servers for partical effects (they should only really be for the rich afterall, being a luxury).

I'm having a meeting for Starsider ID's later next week. We'll see how big of a crowd I get I'll mention your idea to them for sure

but i dont know if interserver prices would work because some servers have alot more cash than others

I'll send you an ingame mail about it Carpathia,i'm also a Bria ID and i'm not sure whether or not my pricelists are absurdly espensive or other IDs' incomeundermining. (the latter one would be worse for the rest of the union indeed lol)

Interesting concept. Im a new ID'er on our server and I plan on keeping the profession. I'd be interested in the going's on regarding union/syndicate.

:smileyvery-happyefinately worth discussing more. I may try to contact the other master ID's on Gorath and see how rates work for us. Though jsut last night iw as doing free ID work and only taking tips and i made almost 100k.
